This site was created about three years ago. Like many f my interests and projects it has been neglected while my attention has been diverted to to so many other things. I could have beeen famous, or great, at something if I'd only stuck with one thing. Anyway, as they say, no use crying over spilled milk.
For reasons that I can'y explain I retired one month before Covid-19 became the biggest thing to consume my life and those of virtually every other human on this planet. Needless to say, I have plenty of time to do anything I want. I have tried to bury myself in so many different activities, but when I spin the big wheel it keeps landing on my first love . . . writing. So screw everthing else, I'm going to do a makeover on my personal website and expose my inner self to any and all who dare venture into this blog. Every thought that enters my mind should be put on thep printed page, or so me thinks.
I still have a motivational cassettte tape that inspired me about fourty years ago. The one dominant point that always occupies a space in the recesses of my mind is when the speaker talks about the futility of thinking you are right. His reasons and examples are too numerous to detail here, but the Coles Notes version is that our opinion is valid . . . so is the opinion of anyone who disagrees with us. Think about that for a minute!
So, what's the point? The point is that I get emtotional about so many things in life, and in the news, every day. I think all of my feelings should be the basiss for a personal opinion column, and why not? Newspapers are filled daily with personal opinion columns. So That's exactly what I am going to do and I hope you, the readers of this blog, will respond, positively, or negatively. Tell me what you think. Why I'm right, or why I am am wrong. What are your thoughts? Your opinions are as valid as mine . . . aren't they?
So, I'll close this first issue of my new Blog, with a challenge to you all. I dare you to read my blogs and then challenge me. Am I dare you!
